Nikki has been a professional sailor since age 18, with achievements including 12 transatlantic crossings, becoming the youngest skipper to finish (and place 2nd in) the Clipper Round the World race, guest skippering MAIDEN, winning the Race to Alaska in 2019 and 2023, supporting La VAGABONDE with Greta Thunberg, and since meeting Andy in 2020, has become a core member of 59 North, skippering women’s passages and running the racing program.

Nikki has been sailing professionally since she was 18. Highlights include 12 transatlantic crossings, becoming the youngest skipper ever to finish the Clipper Round the World race, coming 2nd; sailing as guest skipper aboard MAIDEN; twice competing in the Race to Alaska; 2019 & 2023 (winner); and supporting La VAGABONDE across the Atlantic with Greta Thunberg aboard. Nikki met Andy in the fall of 2020. Since then, the relationship has evolved and now she is a core member of the 59 North family. She has sailed all our boats, including SPICA and now predominantly skippers women’s passages (her passion!) and runs the 59º North’s racing program.
