Offshore Sailing | 'Essentials' workshop
$959.00 pp | Discounts for Quarterdeck Members & 59º North Crew | Limited to 10 People (Spaces left: 2)
Join Andy, Mia & friends in Annapolis this spring for a 2 ½-day hands-on, in-person workshop covering the ‘essentials’ of offshore sailing from weather forecasting & routing to boat outfitting, safety procedures, sail plans & more. You’ll learn the fundamentals of what’s required to sail offshore in safety & style and be given resources for further study.
While we can’t possibly cover everything in detail in just two days, we’ll cover the most important aspects of ocean sailing and touch on where to find the best information for the rest.
Importantly, we’ll limit this to small group of just 10 people, so you’ll have plenty of time and space to ask your own questions and ‘customize’ this workshop to your own priorities. It’ll be a great way to meet like-minded sailors too!
WHO It's FOR
Anyone dreaming about or getting ready to go offshore, whether you own your boat and are prepping for departure, or have sailed around the world and want to make it better next time. If you’re still in the shopping phase and years away from a passage, this workshop will focus your preparation efforts.
It’s also a great opportunity for 59º North crew to dig a bit deeper before joining us on an offshore passage. In short, anyone interested in offshore sailing will benefit off this seminar and have a great weekend.
