This trip is a mid-season sea trial placed within one of Isbjørn’s maintenance periods, and is an opportunity to experience 59 North behind the scenes. It will likely consist of sailing by day and picturesque harbours by night for the most part, but will likely include a longer offshore stretch and some overnight sailing too. While not part of the race event, ISBJØRN will depart with the fleet on July 22 to tag along and follow the fleet across the North Sea to Kristiansand, the tall ships’ next port of call.
